The Gospel According to Lost by Chris Seay

The Gospel According to Lost was a good book - I love the show"Lost" (yes, I'm a Lostie and I've sucked my husband in, too!) and Chris Seay did a wonderful job incorporating Christianity amongst the plots and twists of the television show. The author analyzes the lives of the characters in each chapter and relates them to Biblical scripture.

I did not totally agree with all of his comparisons, but overall, it was an interesting read and enjoyable.  Chris Seay is a pastor and writes in the book that Lost has compelled us to think, debate, and turn inward regarding our own personal battles between good and evil.  The author, just like the tv show, points out the mysteries of life and how things are not always tied up in a neat little bow.  Life is messy and sometimes the journey is the lesson.  Definitely a thought-provoking book!

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. I am adding this as I do not want to go to jail for getting a book!
